“You and your time are valuable to me. Please respect that this is the way I make my living and that other clients could receive the benefits of the services when you give appropriate notice for cancellations and show up for your appointments on time. Thank you!
Cancellation Policy
The minimum time requested to cancel your appointments with a good reason and without any penalty fees is 48 hours or 2 full days prior to your scheduled session. Good reasons to cancel are scheduling conflicts that are new and about work related duties, health related issues for you or those dependent on you and surprises you could not have anticipated. They do not include social engagements you decide to do at the last minute or social engagements you forgot or just heard about. It is extremely difficult to fill canceled appointments and I appreciate your thoughtfulness in keeping your scheduled time. I am open to you asking to see if we can reschedule, but please understand if you can't be rescheduled you have a choice to make and you will be expected to pay for the missed appointment. I will never ask to move your appointment or cancel your appointment unless it is necessary and unavoidable.
No Show Policy
Appointments that are not shown up for will be billed the full fee with few exceptions. I am pleased to have a steady schedule and it becomes difficult to maintain professional standards when clients don’t keep appointments. I request that you keep your appointment unless an emergency happens or you are contagious (the same goes for me too!). If you chose to do something else that is not emergency or illness related please realize you are making a choice and will be billed the full fee for the appointment. If you forget that you had an appointment, do not show up and the reason is not emergency or illness related you will be billed the full fee for that appointment. I am happy to call and remind you of your appointments at your request.
Late Policy
When life happens and you will be more than 5 minutes late, please call to let me know. With no call, I’ll assume you are not coming and after 15 minutes I may leave. If time allows, late arriving clients will be given the full 60-minute session and the full fee is always expected.
Insurance
The client realizes that if the insurance company does not pay the therapist, the client is responsible for the full payment of fees. Invoices are available upon request for insurance reimbursement. Ask your insurance carrier for the details of reimbursement. There are no discounts for insurance reimbursement sessions. If the insurance company does not pay for the sessions the client will pay the regular fee.
Release
I, the client, take full responsibility for informing my therapist of any condition that could effect this session. I understand that my therapist cannot diagnose or prescribe and will suggest referrals if necessary. I only authorize my therapist to release and discuss information pertaining to my treatment to other qualified health care providers in the context of improving my care. If inappropriate conduct, of any type, is suspected or experienced, the client or the therapist is free to terminate the session at any time. Please inform your therapist of any chemical, lotion, oil, or scent sensitivities or allergies during the initial intake interview.
Shameless Plug
Regularly scheduled bodywork is a part of a healthful lifestyle. Massage reduces the effects of stress on the body and contributes to overall well-being long after the session is over. Regularity increases the long lasting benefits of the work you receive. Frequency and package pricing is available, ask your therapist about the details. The differences between a GREAT session and an OK one are YOU and YOUR FEEDBACK! Massage is not supposed to hurt, please express your pressure preferences to your therapist. Please feel free to let us know what you like and don't like. I am here to make this a wonderful experience for you because you deserve it! I welcome your comments"
